Jupiter Fishing Report – Weekend & Upcoming Week

Here’s the latest Jupiter fishing report heading into this weekend and the upcoming week.

Offshore Fishing (Jupiter Inlet & Gulf Stream)

Offshore fishing has been strong when weather conditions allow boats to get out.

The sailfish bite remains active, especially in depths between 140–300 feet, where anglers are finding fish around birds and bait schools. Some boats are reporting multiple sailfish releases per trip, which is typical for this time of year as migrating fish move along the coast.

Other offshore species currently in the mix include:

  • Mahi-Mahi (Dolphin) beginning to show up as waters warm

  • Blackfin tuna feeding around bait schools

  • Kingfish along the 120-foot ledge

  • Wahoo occasionally hitting trolling setups

Live bait such as goggle eyes or pilchards under the kite continues to be one of the most effective tactics for sailfish and mahi.

As spring progresses, expect the mahi and tuna bite to improve, making offshore trips even more exciting for anglers launching from Jupiter.

Inshore Fishing (Intracoastal & Bridges)

Inshore fishing is starting to heat up as water temperatures rise.

Recent reports show excellent action for:

  • Snook along mangrove shorelines, docks, and bridges

  • Tarpon beginning to appear along channel edges

  • Mangrove snapper moving into structure

  • Jacks, grunts, and bluefish providing steady action for anglers and families

Snook fishing in particular has been productive, with anglers catching fish on both live bait and artificial lures around structure and current lines.

Night fishing around bridges during the outgoing tide has also produced consistent bites.

Surf & Nearshore Fishing

Along the beach and pier areas near Jupiter and Juno Beach, anglers have been seeing:

  • Bluefish schools moving through

  • Occasional snook along the pier

  • Spinner sharks cruising the beach

  • Some early pompano activity

Wind conditions can impact the bite along the beach, but when the water cleans up the action can be excellent.

Spring Break Boating in Jupiter

Fishing isn’t the only reason people are hitting the water this week.

Spring break in Jupiter also means:

  • Sandbar gatherings at Peanut Island and Jupiter Sandbar

  • Waterfront dining runs along the Intracoastal

  • Cruising past Jupiter Lighthouse

  • Snorkeling and exploring reefs and coastal waters

For locals and visitors alike, boating offers the perfect way to enjoy South Florida’s warm weather and beautiful waterways.
