π£ Fishing Friday Report β Jupiter, FL | Weekend Outlook π
Itβs shaping up to be a beautiful spring weekend here in Jupiter, and the bite is heating up just in time for our Jupiter Pointe Boat Club members to get out on the water!
π΄ Inshore Action
Snook fishing remains strong along the Loxahatchee River and Intracoastal, especially during early morning and late afternoon tides. Live pilchards and croakers are getting the best results around docks and seawalls. Expect to also find:
Slot-size redfish cruising mangroves
Speckled trout holding in deeper grass flats
A few surprise tarpon starting to show up π
π Offshore Bite
Conditions are lining up nicely for a run offshore. Anglers are reporting:
Sailfish still active in 120β200 ft (live bait schools are key)
Mahi-mahi showing up along weed lines and floating debris
Kingfish and bonito pushing through closer to shore
β Reef & Nearshore
The reefs are producing steady action with:
Snapper (lane & mangrove) biting well on cut bait
Grouper hanging tight to structure (check regulations!)
Spanish mackerel feeding aggressively in clearer water
βοΈ Weekend Conditions
Light winds and manageable seas should make for comfortable boating both inshore and offshore. Keep an eye on afternoon thunderstorms typical this time of year.
π₯ Pro Tips from Jupiter Pointe Boat Club
βοΈ Match your bait to whatβs in the waterβlook for bait pods before you start fishing
βοΈ Fish moving tides for best results
