Dan Hoag relocated to Florida from the mountains of Sussex County, New Jersey in 1992. Dan's career and love for the water developed when first becoming a lifeguard. Upon graduation, he became a police officer who excelled as a Rescue/Recovery Diver for Sussex County. He is certified in deep water, cave, ice and mine diving. In addition to working in the police department, he was also called in for special projects with the Sussex County Water Management District and the Vernon Valley/Great Gorge Ski Resort. Underwater repairs such as, dam repairs, pipe replacement, equipment replacement were not his only ventures. He was also called upon for jewelry recovery and mine shaft parts recovery.
Dan also worked in his family's business, Danforth's Inc./Lake Mohawk Marina, running the detail department. Boats were repaired, stored, cleaned, and delivered to customers after their winter rest.
Dan prides himself in being a perfectionist. For all who know him, you now understand his excellent work ethic and his high concern for detail and customer satisfaction.
